Overview

Pac-Man Pizza Parlor is a time management game where Pac-Man helps a girl called Cathy in running the family pizza parlor after her father has lost his memory. Like in other time management games it involves serving customers drinks and meals before they get angry and leave. The screen is divided into two sides: on the left is were Cathy works behind the counter and on the right is a conveyor belt where Pac-Man collects the ingredients and prepares the meals before sending them over to the counter where Cathy can serve them. For some dishes Cathy first have to use the oven to cook them. Like in other games of its kind it uses the mouse, first by clicking on the ingredients, then the prepared meal and finally the customer. Later in the game the ghosts will appear on the conveyor belt. They are stationary and cannot kill but upon contact will lead to a points penalty. Sometimes they turn into fruit and then they can be eaten for bonus points. The story mode is divided into weeks where each of the first six days involves one level of play. For each day the player has to reach specific goals for earnings and meals served to move on to the next. The money earned can then be spent on upgrades and decorations for the restaurant. This includes more space on the counter, an extra oven and speed increases for Cathy and Pac-Man. The seventh day is a bonus level that involves a match three game where items of the same kind has to be matched so that an item is revealed. In addition to the story mode there is an endless mode with an unlimited amount of customers.
