SHIJU HACHI (KARI)

Overview

SHIJU HACHI (KARI) is an adventure game released by Banpresto on November 22, 2007. It was developed by Arcadia Project and Shanon.

It is a horror adventure game based on the 47 prefectures of Japan. The game is based on actual locations throughout Japan, and you read ghost stories with a rich regional flavor based on the data obtained. Although the game is classified as an ADV, it also contains elements of puzzle and RPG, and the production side has avoided categorizing it into specific genres. Basically, it is a work that uses live action, following the style of "Scary Stories from School" by Takiya Iijima. Some of them use CG, and some of them are audio-only scenarios.
