Pirate Cove

Overview

A simple adventure game for kids with selectable answers. First published in COMPUTE!'s Gazette 1986/08 (Issue #38), in COMPUTE!'s Commodore 64/128 Collection - Volume 2 and then as part of Australia's "Red Pack" published by Street games. Modified versions were later released in Jim Green PD Disk #31, and in Q-Link #57.

Children can enter a swashbuckling world of pirates as they attempt to find Treasure Island and the treasure chest in this mini adventure. While providing entertainment and challenge, it also sharpens map -reading and direction skills.

In "Pirate Cove" your child plays the role of a buccaneer who's found a map showing the locations of ten Islands, Starting from Pirate Cove, he or she must navigate around the territory trying to find Treasure Island, Along the way, the child

may find Spice Island, Mermaid's Lagoon,- or Skeleton Island, among others. Also, the child may search sunken ships or fight the Sea Monster, The game is over when Treasure Island has been found and the treasure chest successfully opened.
