Happy Game

Happy Game is an adventure title about a little boy experiencing a horrible nightmare. A creature appears in the boy's bedroom at night and steals three things dear to the boy: a football, a plush rabbit and a dog. Each of these leads to a different nightmare where the boy needs to retrieve it, with a distinctly different world for each one.

Progressing through the game revolves around solving environment based puzzles. As in most of Amanita's titles, there is no comprehensible dialog or an inventory system. The player needs to experiment with the environment through trial and error and use small clues and signals to solve puzzles. This often involved pushing, pulling or rotating parts of the environment and interpreting the results. There are fail states where the boy can die, but there are several checkpoints and then the last sequence is restarted.
