Overview
While you shouldn't confuse Nibble Magazine's Adventure Writing System to the well-received The Quill: Adventure Writing System published year prior, it's quite likely that was exactly what the publisher was aiming for when choosing the name. Originally released for Apple and then ported to multiple platforms including C64, Adventure Writing System let's you write your own text adventures. The program also features an unnamed text adventure (technically named "sample") in which you're a knight on your way to kill a fire-breathing dragon in its lair.
