Overview
Mobile Suit Gundam: Luna Tsū no Tatakai is set in the Gundam universe where players are tasked with defending Luna II, an asteroid base created by the Earth Federation. The plot revolves around the invasion by Zaku forces, and the player's role as the pilot of a Gundam unit. The goal is to thwart the Zaku's efforts to destroy the base and protect key Federation assets. The game is an action shooter where players control a Gundam equipped with a beam rifle. The objective is to destroy Zaku units appearing from the top of the screen while avoiding their shots. Occasionally, more formidable enemies like Red Zaku or Green Robots with triple-shot attacks will appear. In a later phase, players must protect the White Base; failure to do so results in an explosion and a game over. Once all Zaku are defeated, players target the weak spots of Musai-class light cruisers to cause explosions, progress to the next stage, and earn extra lives.
