Overview

The Chinese Box Mystery is a text adventure for the Commodore 64. It was developed by Tony Rome and released into the public domain in 2012. Story: It was spring and you pondered previous events. It was your incompetence that had led to the theft of a Chinese box. In the box was a map showing the location of a unclear device set to detonate! Zhuang Shen, a crazed scientist, had sent the box to you with a note which read "If you can open the box you may prevent a great disaster. Failure to open it correctly will release a deadly nerve gas." You no longer have the box, which was stolen by Lei Feng, your arch enemy, who was last seen in Hong Kong. You must find him and the box before time runs out! Good luck!
