Duke Nukem: Waiting for Forever

Overview

The Duke is disturbed during a TV show when a military group called Crusade of Eternity invades the studios and announces to have found a way to let everyone live forever. Our hero has a bad feeling about their intentions and has to free the earth from their evil plans in twelve missions, in order to continue the TV interview. The final two levels can only be unlocked after gaining a set amount of points.

Waiting for Forever is a freeware platform shooter, using the STX001 3rd person 2D shooting engine and the Game Maker environment. It is made as a light jab against 3D Realms for taking a long time to finish Duke Nukem Forever. The game engine allows for mouse based aiming (similar to Abuse), zooming options and drivable vehicles.
