PGA Championship Golf: 1999 Edition is very much the same as the 1998 version with a golf course creator called the "Course Architect" which allows players to create their own golf courses or recreate any course in the world. There are twelve types of play including including Skins, Stableford, and Medal. Golf courses included in the 1999 Edition are: Sahalee Country Club, Sammamish, Washington (USA) Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Southport, England Black Diamond Ranch, Lecanto, Florida (USA) Coeur d'Alene, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho (USA) Pasatiempo Golf Club, Santa Cruz, California (USA) Pete Dye Golf Club, Bridgeport, West Virginia (USA) Princeville Resort, Kauai, Hawaii (USA) Jocassee Shoals, a fantasy course created with the Course Architect In Tournament mode there is commentary by PGA Tour Radio announcer Grant Boone and color commentary by The Golf Channel's Mark Lye. Multiplay includes up to 4 players with LAN or modem, and internet play is possible via the Won.net network for up to 64 players.
