Overview

Crate Man is a single player, shareware puzzle game from Soleau Software. The story behind the game is that many years ago the tomb of King Kalaporus was excavated and the contents were shipped off to a museum in one red hundred crates. For some reason only fifty crates arrived and the whereabouts of the fifty lost crates has been a mystery until now. Curtis the Crate Man discovered the crates when he did a stock check at the warehouses of B.B. Billings & Sons and the player must help him in recovering each crate. There are fifty crates and that gives the game fifty puzzles, each puzzle comes with an animated solution. The player can attempt the puzzles in any order. Puzzle one is a tutorial puzzle and there are only seven puzzles in the shareware game. The game is keyboard controlled, left/right arrows move Curtis, the up arrow makes him jump and the down arrow makes him pick up/drop an object and by moving the ordinary crates around the player creates a pathway to the missing red crate. The shareware version only contains 7 levels.
