Overview
The Apache pinball machine released in 1975 was manufactured by Playmatic, a company based in Barcelona, Spain. It is an electro-mechanical (EM) machine designed for a single player.
Contrary to the Native American name, the theme is actually based on the "Apache" ruffians—members of a violent street subculture in early 20th-century Paris. It features vibrant, comic-style artwork typical of the mid-70s, depicting scenes related to the Parisian street gang theme.
