Overview

31 is a single player German language dice game for the Commodore 64. It was developed by Gerd Volk and released into the public domain in 1984. A dice game in which a player reaching more than 31 minus points loses. Generally, in each round, one should try to get at least 30 points. If a player gains 27 points, he will receive 3 penalty points. Reaching, for example, 34 points results in the collection of all fours in successive tosses, until none of them fall out. The sum of the fours collected represents additional penalty points for the opponent. If the player collects 32 points, then twos are collected, and so on. The game itself consists of throwing the dice and collecting as many values as possible until the last dice is taken. Then the total of all dice and penalty points is counted.
