Aldaron

Aldaron is a text adventure for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The Evil Necromancer has stolen the only son of the King of the Elves. Young Aldaron lies in a charmed slumber in the depths of a black fortress designed specifically as his prison. There is no possibility of an elf rescuing him, but the King has determined that a mortal (with sufficient courage and intelligence) might succeed. You have been sent to a cavern far beneath the fortress. Your mission is to defeat to necromancer's traps and restore Aldaron to his rightful place. Aldaron must be brought back safely to the cavern beneath the fortress where the player starts.

The player must search through the many rooms and dangers of the Necromancer's castle to discover Alderon, break his magic sleeping spell, and defeat the Necromancer. All commands are via VERB NOUN entry. There is no save or restore feature. A wandering witch causes complications, by moving the player's inventory around. There is a help command for assistance with the quest.
