beatmania IIDX 15: DJ Troopers

Overview

This version is the first home release to introduce "Black ANOTHER" difficulty charts. Playable in Free Mode, these are ultra-difficult variations of a song's traditional ANOTHER chart (a precursor to the LEGGENDARIA difficulty added in later arcade versions). "ALL-SCRATCH" Modifier: A brand new hidden gameplay option that alters the track layout, converting the vast majority of regular note drops into turntable scratches. This is the very first console version to count your "Combo Breaks" directly inside the judgment window. This feature was so popular it was added to the arcade releases years later. For players using the 5-Key modifier on the right side (Player 2), the game shifted the active keys to lanes 3–7 instead of the traditional lanes 1–5 for better comfort.
