Overview

The South Pacific contains some of the most beautiful islands in the world, and they have all been invaded by a terrorist organization called DAMED (Destructive Armed Militant Enemy Devotee). You must fly an experimental fighter jet called the Thrasher Hawk-7 to battle the enemy and rid them from nine different islands. To help out, six different power ups can be collected after destroying certain enemies which provide better weapons, bombs, or extra lives. This unlicensed game from Sachen (for this release under the Joy Van brand) originated in Taiwan as 双鷹 (pronounced Shuāng Yīng and translated by Google as 'Double Eagle') in 1989 and also released in Japan in 1989 as 'Twin Eagle'. Despite the identical title and shared release year, this is a completely different game from the licensed game by SETA Corporation called Twin Eagle published in 1989 by Romstar Inc. in the US and published in 1991 by Visco Corporation for the Family Computer in Japan.
