Dotz

Overview

In 1989, Amiga programmers Syd Bolton & Berj Bannayan coded and released "Dotz", a two-player game for the Amiga based on the classic pen and paper game. They released in 1990 as the first product from Bolton's "Legendary Design Technologies" which went on to do a number of other Amiga projects. The game was released as a shareware title and eventually found its way into much bigger distribution on a cover disk of "CU Amiga" magazine which had a distribution of over 70,000 units a month. It was April 1994, and it was coverdisk 79. It was also published by Euro Power Pack.
