First Letters and Words

Ted E. Bear stars in First Letters and Words as he teaches young children letter and word recognition. With his help children recognize and use both the upper and lower case letters of the alphabet and begin reading whole words. Children accompany Ted through Dinosaur Surprise, a Card Circus and to the Magic Letter Machine. His amazing speech capabilities help them independently solve problems by hearing, seeing, and reading words and simple sentences. Adult helpers customize the learning activities for each child including setting spoken reward messages, learning modules, and speech controls. First Letters and Words gives each child the opportunity to become an independent reader.
