Overview

Kursk Campaign: Operation Zitadelle is a Strategy / War Simulation game developed and published by Simulations Canada in 1987. The game allows you command in the Kursk Campaign, operation Zitadelle in the summer of 1943. In this command oriented study of the resulting battle, the greatest tank confrontation in history to that point. The axis player must cut into the bulging Soviet line and destroy any trapped Red forces. The Soviet player must blunt this attack with defense in depth and attrite the Axis into defeat. The game includes 2 sets of playing pieces and situation maps for both players. And the computer will act as a player for either side. Scenarios include both early and late Axis offensive start dates. Design by S. St. John, development by S. Newberg, & art by J. Kula.
