Overview
Super Mario Bros. 2: Christmas Edition is a special edition of the original Super Mario Bros. 2 game with updated graphics. All 20 stages remain the same, but the graphics have been changed to fit within the holidays.
Changes from the original game:
Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach have new outfits to match the theme for the holidays.
Birdo has been replaced by Frosty the Snowman. Frosty shoots snowballs instead of eggs.
On all stages, snow falls in the background.
POW Blocks have POW replaced by HO!.
Shy Guys wear Santa hats.
Waterfalls are frozen.
Mushroom Blocks have been replaced by presents, Santa hats, tree ornaments, and ball ornaments.
The final boss, Wart wears a Santa hat. Wart spits out big snowballs instead of bubbles.
