Overview

Part of the Chess Replacement Project. Manipulation, by Justin Kolb, is a complex strategy game in the long line of games of this type, updates and replacements for Chess that might take us in different directions and open up new ideas and complexities. Manipulation is designed ofr 2 players sitting at the same computer and sharing the mouse. Gold player starts at the top of the 8x8 playing board and Silver is content to start at the bottom. Each side starts out with 16 pieces total, there are 8 different types of pieces, 2 of each type. The game revolves around one type of piece which is called the Blank. All pieces look like coins with different faces to differentiate them. The Blank is just that. When you run out of Blank pieces, the game is over. Activate the piece you want to move and move it by clicking where you want to go.
