Crazy Machines 1.5: More Gizmos, Gadgets, & Whatchamacallits

Crazy Machines 1.5 is the 2nd game in the Crazy Machines series. This title consists of the translated versions of Crazy Machines: Neues aus dem Labor and Crazy Machines: Der total verrückte Tüftelspaß, offering 200 new puzzles, 100 new pieces and different graphic backgrounds and music.

Like the first game, 1.5 uses a point-and-click mouse-based interface. The game takes place in two different modes: The "Inventor's Training Camp" and "New from the Lab". Gameplay starts out with simpler puzzles (in the "Inventor's Training Camp") and progresses on to more difficult ones - a total of 101 puzzles. This allows the player to gain more experience. The "New from the Lab" section contains more challenging puzzles (over 100 of them). The game auto-saves progress, so the next puzzle in the level will open upon restarting the game.

When starting a puzzle, the ultimate goal is provided along with a selected group of contraptions to work with. Use all or just some of the pieces to achieve the required result by arranging them on the screen, connecting power cords or ropes, lighting candles, torches or fuses. Test the arrangement at any time. If it fails, make adjustments or start fresh from the beginning.

Players of the previous game will recognize many of the original pieces (i.e. candles, torches, gears, power sources, light bulbs, cannons, balloons, buckets, ramps, bars, dynamite). Some of new gizmos include robots, bottle rockets, gramophones, microphones, bombs, and safes.
