Skan 29

Sid was out walking in the country when suddenly a strange doorway appeared and dragged him away. Sid found himself in total darkness. He seemed to be floating and could not move. Suddenly and odd looking sphere rolled towards him. A deep voice spoke out: "Sidney, you are the chosen one. You have been selected to save the planet Skan-29 from the evil droids that have stolen it. Due to the intense gravity, you must use this spherical ship to move about. Destroy the five evil droids and you may return to your own planet. Fail and the droids will be powerful enough to rule the whole universe...

Sid did not want to save a planet that he had never heard of, but there didn't seem much choice.

A platform game made in Amos by Jedi Productions where you avoid dangers and collect coins. It was released in 1992.
