Overview

Like the original 2001 game, Priston Tale is a 3D MMORPG set in the fantasy world of Priston where you and other online players can join one of two main tribes (the Morion, and the Tempskron) to fight against a new evil that was prophesied to spread throughout. Focusing heavily on the action-element, this RPG boasts eight unique classes players can choose from - each having its own unique 5-tier skill set that upgrades as you progress your character. In addition to this, Priston Tale provides a 3D environment in which character models are detailed with distinguishing appearances and a more flexible feeling to the camera and character movement. The fast-paced, real-time combat of Priston Tale includes the monitoring and management of health, magic, and stamina points. All three can be replenished through the consumption of potions or by a spell-caster. Experience points are gained through defeating enemies in combat. The game uses an aggressive creature respawn system outside of safe areas, like towns. As players roam around, evil monsters will be encountered of which will respawn shortly after being defeated and dying. As players level, the number of experience points lost after death increases steadily and sharply. To mitigate the likelihood of death, players are encouraged to band together using the in-game party system allowing players to gain safety and efficiency through numbers. Weapons, armor, and equipment can be found, purchased, or otherwise obtained to be equipped and used to boost player attributes in combat and other gameplay. Different weapons not only have unique descriptions and graphics, but they also are visibly present on your character as seen by other players in-game. The game also implements an item upgrade system using item mixtures and aging to improve, specialize, and customize their equipment. While there is no set end-goal or mission, the general aim for players is to get the strongest equipment, hold the highest level, and defeat all of the strongest of enemies - including other players. There are also side quests and other minor achievements that can be completed throughout the leveling progression.
