Overview
Summer 1984 and English football is at its lowest ebb. We have failed to qualify for the European Nations Cup and had a very poor string of international results. In a few months we'll set out on the '86 World Cup qualifying trail. You have been given the most important job of restoring English pride in their football. You have a match in Paris, the USSR at Wembley and a South American tour, to assemble a team, first to qualify, and then to beat the world's best in Mexico!
