Overview

As unlikely as it may seem, Mountains of Ket on the Amstrad CPC may be one of the first examples of a game being rebuilt and then resold using a modern engine... originally released on the ZX Spectrum and C64, the game was rewritten on the Graphic Adventure Creator utility by Incentive (who also published the original game) and released as part of a double pack with Top Secret. The game itself requires you to cross the aforesaid mountains and defeat the malignant Vran Verusbel (maddest of the Mad Monks) and the malevolent Delphia (most beautiful woman in the world). Boasting some uncommon features like money handling and reputational damage for doing ill deeds, Mountains of Ket was remarkably ahead of its time.
