Alien Taxi

Overview

Alien Taxi is a 1 - 2 player arcade game for the TRS-80. The player controls an alien taxi, which must travel through a side-scrolling underground cavern to pick up alien fares and bring them to a resort hotel. The space ship is controlled by applying vertical and horizontal thrust. Gravity will constantly pull the vessel downwards. The player receives points from picking up fares and additional points when dropping them off. The player has limited fuel, and refuels every time the revisit the resort hotel. The player must land at each of the 12 taxi stands, and must have a vertical speed of less than 3 to safely land. If the player strikes a wall, they lose a life. Four lives, and it's game over. Similar in some ways to the C64 classic, Space Taxi.
