When Tetris first appeared, the VIC-20 was already commercially dead, and it didn't receive an official port. In 2002, one version was developed for the annual Minigame compo, a coding competition with strict size targets. The 1 kilobyte large Zapactris (taking its name from programmer Anders "Zapac" Carlsson) is a fairly faithful replica of the original, albeit without the additions of some Tetris variants, such as bonus points for eliminating multiple lines, etc.
