Overview
Bowmen is a humorous erotic shooter created by the Spanish company Ten-Level. The introduction shows a voyeuristic boy approaching a woman when a divine hand appears from the sky and strikes him with lightning, transforming him into an angelic cherub. As a newly winged “bowman,” he must clear stages overseen by divine and infernal powers.
The player controls a small angel who fires arrows—or occasionally other projectiles—at colored blocks arranged across the screen. Hitting a block makes it disappear, uncovering the space behind it. Some stages feature simple square blocks, while others use varied shapes resembling Tetris tetrominoes. A timer limits each stage. Various characters interfere or assist: the divine hand throws lightning bolts to hinder progress, while a devilish hand sometimes appears at the bottom of the screen to drop bonus items that grant extra shots or points. Other flying creatures, such as bees, act as moving obstacles.
