Overview
Gemcrush is an exceptionally rare, unreleased Japanese arcade game prototype [0.25] developed in 1996 by Star Fish.
Rather than a modern match-3 mobile game, this historical arcade title is actually a unique brick-breaking game (similar in mechanics to Breakout or Arkanoid) featuring an underwater/aquatic theme and a variety of colorful gems. Because the cabinet was never mass-produced, it remained a lost piece of gaming history until the original development board was sourced from an anonymous donor and dumped for emulation preservation in 2019.
