Overview
The first compilation of what would become the 'They Sold a Million' series. The included games are:
* Daley Thompson's Decathlon (Ocean)
* Beach-Head (U.S. Gold) [EXC. GERMAN VERSION]
* Jet Set Willy (Software Projects)
* Sabre Wulf (Ultimate Play The Game)
* Rocco (Gremlin) [GERMAN VERSION ONLY]
For the Amstrad CPC version, both Daley Thompson & Beach-Head were relatively new releases (within six months) when this compilation was released. Meanwhile Sabre Wulf was published in tandem with this release meaning players could buy it on its own or as part of the compilation. Also of note, the version of Jet Set Willy on this release was different from the initial CPC release - dubbed 'The Final Frontier' on other machines and sold as Jet Set Willy II, the expanded JSW was actually the initial CPC release - the version on this compilation is the 'original' cut down game that had first appeared on the Spectrum.
Finally, owing to German sensitivities of games that featured war like settings and dictatorships at the time, Beach-Head was replaced by Rocco for the German release - the boxing game was also a brand new release on the CPC at the time.
