Nythyhel: Files of the Occult

David Hamlyn arrived at the offices of Sinister Investigations Inc. after receiving an urgent phone message from his friend and colleague, Professor Jack Slaine. He entered Jack's office only to find it deserted and lifeless. An eerie silence hung over the empty room. David surveyed the surroundings with a critical eye. It was dark but the new moon bathed the room with an almost milky white light.

A sudden chill came over him. He felt very nervous. Over the other side of the door was the computer room. David went over to the locked door and leaned forward, pressing his ear against the woodwork. He heard nothing! Thinking little about the noise he had heard when he entered the room, he then sat down to read some of the reports from the folders upon Jack's desk, not noticing the shadow moving across the the bottom of the door behind him.....
