Overview
Killer Instinct is a 2013 fighting video game and relaunch of the Killer Instinct franchise following a 17 year hiatus after Killer Instinct 2. The game was launched as a platform via the Xbox One that allowed players to either buy only the characters they wanted or to buy entire seasons of characters as they were released. Main development for Season 1 was handled by Double Helix. After Double Helix was acquired by Amazon Iron Galaxy was brought on to handle the development of Seasons 2 and 3.
