Overview

Ascend: Hand of Kul is an action role-playing game where players control a Caos, a member of a strong breed of warriors. The world once existed with Men and Gods living in harmony. The Gods would be revered by Men and would sometimes come from the Realm of Spirit to the physical world. After returning to the physical world time after time, the Gods went mad and tried to take over devotees of the other Gods, battling each other. After tasting the blood of humans, they became trapped into the physical world. Nowadays the Gods are completely mad and are known as Titans: very large, immortal giants. But the time of the Titans is coming to an end and three new gods arise to take control over the world. The Gods of Darkness, Void and Light all amass Caos to do their work and take over the world. Players must choose to follow any of these three new gods and their ultimate goal to take down all Titans. Every god has his own world and all three run parallel. Players can see the players in the other world, but only as a ghost. Each Caos has the ability to help or hinder any player from the other worlds. For example, this can be done by sending enemies from the existing world to the world of the other player. Players can also choose to battle one another and will temporarily travel to the other players' world. An Ascended Champion can be created when a Caos is offered to the chosen god. Players can then create a new Caos, restart the campaign and again choose between the three gods. Choosing the same god will make the Caos stronger. Any created Ascended Champion will fight on your behalf and will help friends to kill any foes.
