Attack of the Timelord!

Overview

The player has drawn the attention of Spyrus the Deathless, Timelord of Chaos, and must defend with their Time Machine's laser cannon. In this space shooter, the player moves the Time Machine horizontally and fires lasers with the action button. The Timelord's Time Ships attack with four weapons introduced over the first four levels: Level 1: Missiles travel straight down. Level 2: Antimatter mines follow the player's movements. Level 3: Annihilators move straight down, then attack from the sides. Level 4: Nucleonic Time Killers, robot-piloted ships that anticipate actions. There are 256 progressively harder stages, with faster, better-armed enemies. Levels are completed by destroying all Time Ships. Points are scored for destroying various enemies, with higher points for more difficult foes. The Timelord appears at each level's start but can be skipped by pressing 0 (zero) at the game's start.
