Overview

Blitz Brigade is a multiplayer class based first person shooter, similar to Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield Heroes. The game features two factions, Axis and Allies and there are five classes to play as: soldier, gunner, medic, sniper and stealth. Soldier and gunner are available from the start, the others have to be unlocked, either by playing the game and levelling or by paying. The game also features vehicles and there are three vehicles available in the starting zones for each team, a 4x4, a tank and a helicopter. There are two game modes: domination and team deathmatch. Domination can be played by up to twelve players on large map and features vehicles. The goal is to first reach 30 points, which are awarded for killing enemies and holding flags. Team Deathmatch is for up to eight players and is played on smaller maps without vehicles. Here the teams only get points for killing enemies and 15 points is enough to win. At timed intervals, supply crates are dropped at certain locations. Picking them up leads to helpful bonuses, such as instant healing, ammo refills and special weapons. When dying a player gets to wait a few seconds before respawning, but there is a costly instant respawn option. Each weapon has an XP parameter which shows how attuned to the weapon the player is. By reaching milestones basic upgrades can be unlocked, such as increased clip size, critical chance and damage as well as longer range and no movement penalties. Weapons also have a durability value. For each shot the durability goes down leading to penalties such as slower rate of fire, increased reload times and less damage. Therefore it's necessary to repair weapons to maximize their efficiency. It's also possible to upgrade to premium weapons where durability is not an issue. Although the game is primarily a multiplayer game there are also single player training missions (although an Internet connection is still required for these). These usually involve surviving against waves of enemies or defending a point. The class played differ from mission to mission and some also features vehicles. The game is free to play and features a large amount of in app purchases, such as new weapons and items.
