Overview

As the title suggests, GTI Racing focuses exclusively on the Volkswagen Golf series cars, offering a selection of 15 models stretching over five generations of car design. The gameplay includes arcade racing with thorough simulation elements, using a realistic damage model, collision detection and an interactive environment, and time spent in the garage fine-tuning your vehicle with branded parts. You can install both useful enhancements and eye-catching body kits, tapping into the tuning scene. The 70 stages, based on six settings, offer varied gameplay, with regular races, time trial, drag racing and drift competition. Next to the championships, there is also a Baja and a Legal mode. Most time will be spent in the career mode, racing in different locales, earning money and respect to buy new cars, and ultimately becoming a champion. Up to four players can race online or over a local network. Based on the Chrome engine, the game comes with a full editing suite. You can design and import custom cars and apply paint jobs. Additionally, mods, tracks and modes can be created and shared online.
