Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

Microsoft Flight Simulator X or FSX is the tenth version of Microsoft's line of civilian flight simulators. It updates the series to take advantage of up-to-date technologies including DirectX 10 and features much improved graphics and multiplayer support in the form of "Shared Skies" feature, which allows multiple players to share the cockpit.

The Steam Edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator X is a slightly overhauled version of the gold edition. Since originally the multiplayer games were hosted via the now defuncted GameSpy, the games are now hosted via Steam. The game was modified to run on Windows 8.1 and should be compatible with most of the original add-ons.
