Janggun-ui Adeul

Janggun-ui Adeul is a unlicensed game based on the Korean movie The General's Son (1990). It is set in the 1920's, during the Japanese occupation of Korea, and tells the story of Kim Doohan, a beggar and street punk who discovers that he is the son of a renowned general, and unites the lower circles of the Korean society to fight against the Japanese oppression.

The game is a side-scrolling beat-em-up with fairly simple mechanics. Kim Doohan can punch and kick his enemies, or combining these moves with jumping. Like in most games of the kind, all the enemies must be eliminated before the hero can proceed. Stages usually culminate with boss battles.
