Puyo Puyo

Overview

Puyo Puyo is a Japanese falling block puzzle game developed by Compile and published by Sega in 1993.

Unique to the Game Gear version is an additional quest mode. Similar to the mission mode of the original MSX/Famicom version, it presents a series of pre-filled playing fields with a specific task, like making a minimum number of puyos disappear in one move, or removing all puyos of a certain color. Progress is saved via passwords.
