Overview
Altered Beast is a port of the 1988 beat 'em up arcade game of the same name, developed and manufactured by Sega. The game is set in Ancient Greece, and follows a centurion who is resurrected by Zeus to rescue his daughter Athena, and to do so becomes able to turn into nightmarish beasts with the use of power-ups. Given the limitations of the CPC, the two player mode of the arcade original is not present and the graphics and sound are severely limited.
