Sled Storm is a snowmobile racing video game for the PlayStation 2. It features 7 tracks with many shortcuts. The 8 characters vary in trick abilities, and they each have distinct snowmobiles. The soundtrack features Hein Hoven, John Morgan, Morphadron, Overseer and Sulpher. In comparison to Sled Storm some of the main notable differences include: Different game modes The PSX has a split-screen mode for up to 4 players, while the PS2 only has a two-players split-screen mode. Additionally, the PS2 game has a Rival Challenge mode. Different starter characters The PSX features Jay, Ryan, Tracey, Gio, Travis and Nadia, while PS2 features Tracey Maretti, TJ Rallins, Zoe Payne, Sam Griffin, Niklas Ericksson, Gavin Meyer, Psymon Stark and Alix Kinoshita. Different tracks PSX tracks are called Pine Valley, Kodiak Canyon, Hard pack, Eagle Ridge, glacial Grind, Goat’s Bluff, while PS2 tracks are Cedar Canyon (Canada), Bermuda Berg, Rumble Ridge (Argentina), Twinn Peaks (France), Black Diamond (Sweden), Beast from the east (China), Polarfest (Alaska). Different soundtrack PSX soundtrack features Rob Zombie, Econoline Crush, EZ rollers, Jeff Dyck, while the PS2 soundtrack features Hein Hoven, John Morgan, Morphadron, Overseer and Sulpher.
