Cut the Rope 2

Overview

Cut the Rope 2 is a physics-based puzzle game. The goal in each level is to get a piece of candy to a tiny, green monster named Om Nom by cutting ropes and manipulating other gadgets in the world.

As the first full-fledged sequel to 2010's Cut the Rope, it introduces a number of new gameplay mechanics, including the ability to move Om Nom himself towards the candy instead of vice versa. Each chapter features a new companion monster called a "Nommie" with a unique special ability that the player must leverage to solve the puzzles. For example, one monster extends its tongue across the width of the level when tapped, and its tongue can be used as a platform for candy to land on or a blockade for rising balloons.

The game was initially released as a paid app, but features in-app purchases that help players to accelerate past difficult puzzles or obtain special collectibles. It is played in portrait orientation on mobile devices.
