Overview
Golden Tee Fore! 2004 is the 13th release in the Golden Tee series from Incredible Technologies which began in 1989.
The game follows the normal rules for golf play. All scoring is done for stroke play (hazards, water penalties, etc.) You're provided with a standard set of clubs which includes: 2-9 Irons, 3 and 5 Woods, a Driver, a Sand and Pitch Wedge, and a Putter.
Prior to the swing players can turn left or tight using the trackball controller, then roll back in a certain direction for a back swing then forward to release the swing. Using different direction you can achieve different shots including slices, hooks, fade and knock down shots.
The game also keeps track of high scores for each course including:
- Great golfer points (scored by getting shots within 5' of the hole from at least 50 yards out)
- the thirty best scores
- longest drive
- longest putt
- fewest putts
- most greens hit
- most fairways hit
- most birdies
- most eagles or better
