Overview

Unlike other karting games released in the past with a strong arcade component such as the Mario Kart series or Virtual Karts, this title licensed by the British Kart Series is focused on realism, so instead of making power drifts and collect road-burning turbo power-ups, the player must learn the proper trajectories and how to handle a kart capable of reaching speeds up to 120 km/h to succeed. Including 10 tracks and 24 different karts, the game features two modes: Arcade and Simulation. Arcade is just an introduction of the game, allowing the player to familiarize himself with the game controls by doing single races without having to care about damage or tuning, and just on Simulation the player can compete in the Championship. The game only requires a couple of controls: steer, accelerate, brake and compressing the engine, giving it more speed at the expense of less control on the next turn and heat increase. However, karts are low-tech and lack a differential, so the player must rely only on kinetic energy to make even simple turns. Up to four players can compete in the same computer using split screen.
