Family Feud is based on the 1999 version of the television game show starring Louie Anderson as host. As on television, the game features two five-person teams competing to guess the most popular answers to a variety of survey questions. The team that wins goes on to the final round where, once again, players try to come up with the most popular responses to score the most points in hopes of winning the game's virtual big bonus prizes. Emcee Louie Anderson is featured in full-motion video as the comedian explains the rules, asks survey questions, and awards prizes. Several options allow players to customize the names and appearances of their onscreen family team members.Five pre-rendered families are provided and you can save up to five customized groups. Various options allow you to customize gameplay. A loose or strict setting is available for spelling accuracy and the fast money time limit (bonus round) can be adjusted to either 20/25, 30/35 or 40/45 seconds for the two contestants respectively. Computer opponent skill levels can be set to easy, medium, or hard, and the amount of time allowed to type in your survey answers can be set to off, 20 or 40 seconds.
