Beach de Reach!

High-school student Shingo Kashiwara is spending his summer vacation at a beach town, and it just so happens that three girls from his school — all of them cute and single — are also staying at the same lodging. He decides it's the perfect chance to get to know them, and perhaps even make his move on the girl of his dreams.

Beach de Reach! is a riichi mahjong game combined with a simple love adventure game. The player's affection level with each of the three girls is affected not just by the interactions in the adventure sequences — the girls will react to the player's choices at specific points, and it is also possible to gift special items which can raise the affection level and trigger special event if the right item is picked for the right girl — but also by the player's performance in the mahjong sequences. While it's important to show your skills, the best move in mahjong may not be the best move in wooing a girl, and it may sometimes be prudent to let your favored lady win a few rounds here and there.

In addition to the main story mode, the game also includes a free battle mode with a variety of game rule settings, as well as a "mahjong school" quiz mode to test the player's basic knowledge of mahjong.
