Overview

Ayano Aishi has never really felt emotions like other people do, but that changes when she sees Senpai, a classmate with whom she falls in love instantly. There are just two problems. One, just being near them overwhelms Ayano with emotion, making it impossible to talk to them. Two, lots of other girls are in love with Senpai too. What's a poor lovestruck girl to do? The answer is to eliminate the competition - by any means necessary. Yandere Simulator is a game focusing on the concept of the yandere, a character who is obsessively in love with another and will go to extreme (usually violent) means to dispose of any threats to their perceived romance. The game takes place in and around Akademi High, where Ayano must make sure none of Senpai's other admirers have an opportunity to confess their love. She has a variety of ways to achieve this goal, including ruining the other girls' reputations, matching them up with a different student, or, of course, outright killing them. Whatever she does, Ayano needs to make sure to avoid getting caught, or else she'll never have a future with her Senpai. The game simulates an average Japanese high school. During the school day, Ayano needs to balance classes and scheming in order to benefit from both while avoiding punishment. After school, she can participate in a variety of activities on the school property, including clubs with other students. If she does anything illegal in her pursuit of Senpai, she'll have to eliminate any evidence and witnesses in order to cover up her crime, or set up another student to take the blame. Other aspects to manage are her social reputation and sanity.
