The Side Story of After Armageddon

After Armageddon Gaiden: Majuu Toushouden Eclipse is a side story to Last Armageddon. Because of the release of the Saturn this title was never brought outside Japan. Like Last Armageddon, this game is a turn-based RPG in which the player controls a group of demons in a post apocalyptic world.

The story takes place in the future, hundreds of years after the extinction of mankind due to a nuclear holocaust. Demons are the rulers of the planet now, but they are engaged in battle for the dominion of the earth by some aliens/robots. The player controls a team of five characters, which is only visible in its entirety during combat. At the beginning, you must go to the ruler, who will assign you a task, and then you will be able to leave the city and venture into the wilderness. At any time, you can activate the map, which shows important locations on the map. During the journey, the player's team can be attacked at any time. Combat takes place in a turn-based system, in which you can use an attack, defence, spell, skill or item. Defeating enemies is rewarded with experience, items or dust, which is the currency in the game. In the statistics, you can check the condition of your team members, treat wounds or buy necessary accessories. The game ends if all members of the player's team are defeated.
