Two-Tenkaku

Overview

Two-Tenkaku is a vertically-scrolling shoot-em-up game with a near-future science fiction theme. The story revolves around the real-life landmark Tsūtenkaku, a tower in Osaka, Japan originally built in 1912, and the game includes many references to Osaka history and culture. Gameplay is in standard scrolling-shooter style, similar to games such as Raiden; the player has two shot types which are separately upgraded via power-up icons but can be fired in tandem, as well as a limited stock of screen-clearing bombs. The game can be played solo or two-player simultaneous, and there are a total of five stages, three ships to choose from which each have different weapons, and four difficulty levels.
