Overview
Dong Fang Zhi Zhu (东方之珠, which translates to "Pearl of the Orient") is a tile-matching arcade game released in 1995 by the Taiwanese developer International Game System (IGS).
The game is a variation of traditional Mahjong tile-matching (frequently referred to in emulation circles as part of the Dragon World or Zhong Guo Long series). Players select tiles from a multi-layered pile; the tiles are moved down to a holding rack at the bottom of the screen. When three identical tiles match, they are cleared. If the rack fills up before a match is made, the game ends.
